We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our growth by establishing strategic partnerships and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will thrive working independently and have a proven track record in business-to-business sales within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key personnel in assigned client companies.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and respond to evolving client needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project status continuously, addressing potential issues and identifying new business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between clients and Synergy Bioscience, ensuring effective representation and managing client expectations.
- Clearly communicate Synergy Bioscience's capabilities and service offerings to clients, showcasing how we can meet their needs.
- Ensure efficient handling of client requirements, meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic goals.
- Drive customer relationship management efforts, creating and enhancing long-term partnerships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or a related field (Required)
- Proven experience in business development for a CRO (Required)
- Minimum of 10+ years of business-to-business sales experience
- Strong skills in closing deals, prospecting, sales planning, and client needs assessment
- Goal-oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator with a high level of initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
