Project Manager – Internal Laboratory Resources Coordinator

 

Overview: Synergy Bioscience is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate our internal laboratory resources and develop price quotes. The ideal candidate will function as the linchpin for managing incoming projects, interfacing with laboratory management, and ensuring the seamless execution of laboratory activities.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Analyze potential and new client inquiries regarding our laboratory services.
  • Discuss Synergy Bioscience’s capacity and capabilities with lab management to evaluate client project suitability.
  • Determine alignment between client needs and Synergy Bioscience’s business offerings.
  • Create and negotiate price quotes with potential clients.
  • Finalize agreements and secure projects, serving as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure complete visibility and adequate resources for sample handling and flow, testing timelines, and client satisfaction.
  • Track and resolve any issues related to sample shipment, internal testing, and data release.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in life sciences fields such as chemistry, microbiology, or biochemistry.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficient understanding of GXP practices and procedures.
  • Laboratory operations experience is advantageous.
  • Previous work with external vendors is a plus.

 

Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory testing regulations (internal & CROs).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, positive energy, and a strong sense of determination.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Project management and advanced computer skills; PMP certification is preferred.

 

Compensation: Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
